    Hi:

I am inquiring for my friend who is a new graduate (RN). She is in the process of applying to a few hospitals in RI on a med-surg unit......as of now, she has applied to Kent and Miriam.

Basically she is just looking for any feedback with regards to workplace environment, staff, etc. particularly with regards to med surg units.

    Any comments are appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Carla

I did work at Kent, in the OR, for about a year. I thought it was a really nice place to work. This was about 3 years ago.
  5. I second that about Kent- I have worked there as a surg tech in the OR for 2 years and will be starting my grad nurse orientation there next week. Kent is very good about education and they are supportive. I came from Fatima and while the docs there were awesome-administration and supervisors were not supportive at all about school. Kent also pays more at least in my experience...
