What is a good new cna pay rate?

Hi everyone,

I am a brand spanking new CNA, I just passed my skills test this October 2. I have applied at many nursing home but have gotten no reply from any of them. Today I walked into a nursing home to apply for a CNA position, and right away I was given an on the spot interview. I was offered a job at the 50 bed LTC facility. I accepted the position of course, after getting no response from anyone else. I was offered $11.00 per hour to work 3rd shift and every other weekend. With no shift or weekend differential pay, paid medical and dental after 3 months, and paid vacation time. I toured the facility and liked it very much.

My question is did I get offered a fair amount of money for being a brand new cna working the 3rd shift?
