Need info from kansas city mo nurse


I was cna/cmt in mo. From 97-2004 I went to prison for 4 years and now I'm inactive I'm currently living in vegas but will be returning back to kansas city within the next month or so does anyone know if I can still work as a cna also would I be able to go back to school for rn?

I'm not sure about the legalities of your situation, but our instructor has been telling us that Kansas City is in dire need of CNA's and RN's and they also pay more. Of course, I don't know this for a fact and am only stating what I heard.

I'd like to say its true but at least for RN jobs are not in dire need in Kansas City even if it is recent. Staffing is being cut and RN are not retiring, the need is still there but the country is going through staff freezing everywhere. CNA might be different though
