    Are there any other RNs out there who successfully completed online didactic course and found someone to preceptor them for the 80 hours clinical in Texas?

    I'd like to get advice/input/ideas as to where to go for my 80 hours extensive orientation/preceptorship here in TX. Local facilities (Abilene area) have not been helpful and I'm running out of time...

    try local skilled long term care facilities.

    a nursing home was tickled pink to get my 80 hrs free

    You might try an assisted living also. I think they would jump at any free labor.......
