Just finished a refresher course

by susano

I just finished a refresher course at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing that I really enjoyed. I've been out of "paid nursing" for 22 years to do the mom thing. With 2 in college I thought it might be a good time to get back into nursing. I ran across the Vanderbilt refresher course while searching online for something near by that was independent (I didn't want to be obligated to any hospital before I knew what I wanted to do.) The class was only 14 RN's, half of which came from out of town (Panama City, Memphis, Virginia and even Luxenburg!) It was 40 hours of classroom and 40 of clinical divided between a Med Surg floor and MICU. The instructors were wonderful! Now I just need to find a job! Here's the web info, http://www.nursing.vanderbilt.edu/CE/pdf/RNRC.pdf
