I guess the ole' Brawd's still got a few brain cells

Tomorrow I turn 59 years old Today I went to get re-certified in CPR/AED/First Aid as the first step to getting re-certified as an LPN...sooooo I'm in with all these college youngsters (I took it at a fire station in the heart of Athens,GA) who thought they knew everything ...But chock one up to the old brawd...I scored 100% on all four segments of the tests sooo I guess I can still learn and I was surprised at how much I had retained over the years.

Now if I can just sell my place and get to CO or another state that has good flexable refresher courses. Here in GA if you've been out for more than 5 years you have to take the whole program over again...um and what is the point of a refresher course hmmm..grrr.

I guess this ole brawd still rocks Except when I have one of those hot flash, brain fog moments
