Free tuition for RN program in Cincinnati, Ohio

by tteina

I worked as an LPN in 1980-1982 but went on inactive status while raising my children. I have since reactivated my license. However, I do not have the technical skills to re-enter the nursing field. I was unable to find a nurse refresher course in the clinical field, but did find one in academic which I completed. I believe the only way to return to nursing is to go back to school since I have been out so long. Does anyone know of a RN program in Cincinnati, Ohio that does NOT have a 1-2 year waiting period and offers free tuition or tuition assistance? I heard someone say they saw an ad but was unable to give me the info. Also, if anyone has any ideas on how to return to nursing after 25+ years of being inactive, please let me know. I appreciate any info. As far as working in a doctors office, there is limited jobs as they usually want you to do phlebotomy and injections and things have changed since I did them years ago.

I live in Cinncy area and there is a refresher course offered once a yr deadline for registration is Aug 1 4 days a week, two days clinical, two days lecture. It is 750.00 most hospitals will reimbursed after you completed.ph: is 513-531-0200 I know this is for RN's but they may be able to point you in the right direction. Hope this helps. Good luck!
