Drug Screens Faint Line

  1. 0 How faint is positive? Anyone have experiience with this? We had a very faint line today. A few staff said positive and a few said negative. I could not see the line at all. The sample was sent to the lab for further analysis and came back positive.

well, they say a line is a line, but I honestly DO NOT understand why drug tests need to be run this way. How come they can't be designed to read like a pregnancy test, ie a line, no matter how faint, is positive???? I think it is super confusing to have a line= negative, especially considering that a faint line can very well be a positive. There is just too much room for interpretation.
