Do you have are know anyone who has interstitial cystitis syndrome?

I have a niece who is 7 yrs old and who has been diagnosed in the last 5-6 months with ICS . My sister has some paperwork on it in Minnesota where they live but I had never heard of it before and wondered if anyone could give me more insight into it. They said there are support groups. Do you know any kids living with it?
