Yes, the prep course is very expensive. I think the paucity of affordable study material is one factor that leads to so many people having to take the test multiple times. I just studied the applicable CFR parts. All are available on the FDA website. Know them backwards and forwards. You won't have to memorize the exact section where information found but know bigger section headings. Good luck.
Hi - thanks for your reply. So basically you just studied CFR stuff and everything else was through your experience as coordinator? Do you you have to know specific dates/time period - things like that (i.e. When was Belmont Report or Declaration of Helsinki established?) or is pretty much all critical thinking?
I attended and received materials for a Fundamentals in Clinical Research Class (Beginner and Intermediate) from an IRB that we work with. The notes go into a lot of the stuff mentioned in the CCRC study outline - I'm planning to study from that also - I hope this material and FDA guidelines are enough.
Again, any I'd appreciate any info you can give me and many thanks for your help.
