Rehab Nursing Documentation

We are searching for an EMR to help meet the specific CARF and the ARN standards for rehabilitation nursing documentation. We are a free standing rehabilitation hospital with multiple levels of care (LTACH, Acute Rehab, Sub-Acute Rehab, and Long Term Vent/Special Needs units). I am looking to find what other organizations are currently doing to meet the documentation requirements.

Thanks for your help!

Default Re: Rehab Nursing Documentation
Informatics, we use a system called Heane for our LTC area. It's heinous and unfriendly, and as a result is, well, not used.

Our EMR for everything NOT LTC-related is via HMS. Their AS/400 RPG based system is stable and reliable. Their new Java-side apps, not so much. Their customer support is iffy.

I don't know the regs to which you're referring.
