From a Rehab hospital to a Rehab Unit in a hospitalRegister Today!
- by juststartinout Jul 21, '10Hi all,
Im a new grad working at a rehab hospital. I enjoy the work, but I'm thinking in the future i would like to try getting on at a rehab unit in a hospital. I'm not planning to make the jump for about another year, but I would like to know if there are any certifications I should think about persuing at this time. I like rehab alot, but I want to eventually get to a hospital setting so i can up my skills and nursing prowess. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome!

I don't know about where you practice but it's been tough in the tristate. So to improve my chances, I agree with Nurse Robert, get certified in ACLS and IV to start with because a lot of the jobs i see out there have those requirements.
