How does a typical day shift go?

I am just about to start work in Rehab Nursing and this will be my first experience as an RN.

I would like to ask you how your typical day shift goes, and any pointers on how to manage time will be greatly appreciated. I would also like to know what your typical cases are and the usual challenges they present.
