RN-BSN before nursing residency

  1. 0 I am an RN with an associate's degree and I am in the same boat as all the other new grads... not enough jobs! I actually do have a job, but one that is mostly casework and no acute experience. What I would really like is to get into a nurse residency program but they are so few and far between and alot of them require a BSN. I am wondering, if I enroll in an RN-BSN program, will I be viewed as more desirable candidate upon completion? Or, since all my clinical training will be two years ago (since i did it all in my RN program,) will I be even less of a candidate?
