Hints needed for Preparing a lengthy career and moving up the ladder

Hi there, I just happen to fall on this thread and I was just curious if you would have any advice for me... I have always wanted to be a nurse, I am almost 3 months into an LPN program but I want to keep going afterwards I want to go as far as I can, I already know this, in your opinion what might be the best way to do that??? so I can start preparing now...
