Going a Different Direction....BSN MSN

Hello Everyone,

So for the past two years I have been taking my pre-reqs and basically I have everything except A&P and Micro. I am able to transfer to any state school at this point. My problem is: I am in the middle of taking a&P which i plan on dropping because of my low grade I am so burnt out. Also my gpa is a 2.7, maybe a 3.0 after this semester. I have an AA in Liberal Arts. So to fix this problem I thought that maybe I could transfer to a state school like SF State and get a BA in Sociology and then that way I could boost my GPA and retake my A&P and Micro and then apply to get my MSN or Acc. BSN or just my regular BSN. Does this make logical sense? Is there anything that I may be missing? Thank you all
