Advice for Pre-Nursing Students w/ RN goals

Hi I am a newbie, 28 year old Military Spouse/SAHM of a 4 year old. I am at the very very beginning stages of going back to school to obtain my prerequisites for my BSN so that I can become an RN I am extremely excited and determined but I know it is a long hard road. I am wondering if anyone has ANY advice since most of you have already accomplished the goal

Found a minor mistake: As a member of other message boards I must apologize to all of the senior folks. I got way too excited and just posted a thread without really doing any research on previous topics. So if any of you have any additional advice great.
