ADN vs BSN

I have a B.S. in psych. I'm looking to go back to school. Regardless, I know I would need to take my pre-req sciences first. If I did the ADN, I could take the pre-reqs now and apply for fall 2010. If I decide to do an Accelerated BSN it would take be a year and a half to two yrs to do pre-reqs since i work fulltime. Then apply and do the Accelerated BSN program.

Now is there a difference in pay if you have a BSN vs ADN or some hospitals prefer BSN over ADN? I know I have lots of options such as going for an entry level msn program as well, however I am looking to practice nursing, not go into management.
