ADN v. BSN v. MSN

by lamqmal

Hello!

Can someone please tell me if there is a difference between ADN, BSN, and MSN in terms of nursing positions?
ADN or BSN = regular RN ?
MSN = managerial RN?

I was thinking of pursuing an MSN after I get my ADN, since I already have B.S. degree (in bio) - but would it be worth it? Does someone with an MSN get paid more than those with ADN or BSN for the same RN position?

Any help would be great - thank you so much!!

If you already have a BS then I would suggest an accelerated BSN program. Then, if you choose a specialty, go on to your MSN.
