I have no experience helping with RFAs, however in my mind, technically it's a sophisticated right heart cath, not an angiogram.
Venous access, not arterial.
So, the post-procedure bedrest time would probably (guessing here) be similar to that of an angiogram pt who has an AngioSeal or StarClose: 2-3 hr.
Unless the pt is routinely anticoagulated during the study. Once again, no experience here.
As for activities/recovery post-discharge?? See below:
