Radiosurgery / Gamma Knife Nursing

Any Radiosurgery nurses out there? I am a Gyne-Onc nurse with previous Neuro and Onc experience but while I love the hospital where I am presently employed I am ready to leave the unit that I 'm working on (for various reasons). I submitted a transfer for a rare opportunity to work in the Radiosurgery department as a Gamma Knife nurse. I was selected for an interview but would love more information about what the nurse's role and responsibilities are (the recruiter was unable to help as positions rarely open up there - which may or may not be a good thing). What attracted me to this was the job requisition: 4-10hr shifts Mon-Thurs; no weekends (incl. Fri), holidays, or on-call; willing to train. I know about the procedure but don't know specifically what the nurse does. There is a dearth of information about this specialty on the internet. Is there anyone out there who is familiar with this who could give me more insight or point me in the right direction? Thanks.
