Is there a difference between Radiology and Radiology Nursing? If so, how to these two compare?

Radiology is where radiology techs take xrays and such.
Radiology nurse works in radiology dept. with specially trained radiology techs and interventional radiology doctors caring for patients during there procedures.

The Radiologists themselves don't move the patients around am I correct? I have been told by a lady at our local hospital that it is the nurses job to move the patient around on the table. Is this true in most hospitals, or where you work?

Hmmm, don't quite understand the question re: moving the pts around on the table. During a BE or UGI exam the technologist helps position the pt for the imaging, under the Radiologist's direction (or per established protocol, which is always subject to change, depending on exam).
The Radiologic Technologist is specially trained to position pts for exams and obtain the images. Don't need special orders for routine exams, e.g., CXRs, spine series, knee X-rays, etc. Each hospital's Radiology Dept should have protocols for the different exams. Interventional Radiology and Angio are somewhat different.
Hope that helps. The question was a little vague . . .
