May 9, '12 by dianahYou may be hired on the basis of your experience alone, if there is an area opening and the stars line up!
Then you can get on-the-job training (like most of us dinosaurs did, before certification).
If you want to become certified, join ARIN (Association for Radiology and Imaging Nursing https://www.arinursing.org/ ) and study the core curriculum then take the cert. exam to become a CRN.
It's an exciting and dynamic area in which to work!
