Hospital based program vs Associates

I have a B.A. degree in graphic design but I've decided to go back to school to become a radiographer. I am currently taking all the pre-req courses (A&P, etc) at a local community college. I have two options as far as the actual program. I can apply to the RT program at the same community college once I've completed all the pre-reqs, or I can apply to our local hospital's program. Both are accredited by the JRCERT. I would PREFER the hospital program since it is closer to my home and is less expensive. However I don't want to cheat myself. I was thinking that since I already have a B.A. that I don't really need the A.S. degree in radiology. I've been told that being certified is really all that matters in the end anyway. SO....should I do the hospital program or the community college program? What would you do?
