hello everyone, there's a HEDIS opportunity in my area now. I have emailed the recruiter and found out all the info I need in order to know that I'm interested, but wanted to ask you all some questions first. I am an RN with only 1.5years experience nursing (med/surg floor), and that experience was a little over 3 years ago. I've been home with my kids since then

. Is this going to make the job hard? Do I really need recent experience because of the MD handwriting, new meds, etc..? Do they tell you exactly what to look for or do they just give you a general idea of what they want you to find in a chart? Can you tell me a typical HEDIS work day? What kinds of things do you do when searching a chart? What kinds of things are you looking for? Thanks so much!!!
