I am currently an RN case manager with a growing hospice company and have been offered the QA nurse position once I get a good grasp on the Medicare guidelines. For starters, my supervisor advised me to research the hospice guidelines on the CMS website as well as the Medicare regulations so I'm planning to print that information out this week. They're also going to have me watch the monthly webinars through NHPCO relating to QA. Does anyone have any other suggestions of what to be looking at? Any advice in general with this transition?
