Hi all! I'm currently an RN working in Endoscopy at an ASC. I soon will be taking on additional responsibilities as our QA Coordinator. It is not a full time portion of my position there. Additionally, it is a newly created position and my nurse manager, who is training me a little in confusing bits and pieces, is leaving. I've never done anything other than bedside nursing, so I feel lost. I know my organization will be getting me some training, but they are also a small facility, without the resources of a hospital. I also feel compelled to do a lot of research and learning on my own. Any suggestions pertaining to organizations, certifications, seminars/webinars, books, ANYTHING would be appreciated!!
