Call for Public Comment on NQF Patient Satisfaction Survey

by rninformatics Staff

The National Quality Forum released a 27-question patient-satisfaction survey
for comment, the final phase before the survey is considered for adoption as a
voluntary national standard for hospitals. The CMS expects to begin training
hospitals this spring on use of the final instrument. The HHS agency developed the survey in conjunction with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and with feedback from an NQF review panel.

Comments on the document, which may be accessed at

are due by 5:00pm EST on March 11, 2005.
