Obese patients with ARDS

i dont want to reinvent the wheel, so i figured i would ask the experts

i have a 160kg patient on a vent with ards.

we just ordered hill rom's total care bariatric plus bed with percussion/vibration therapies.

my question is: whats the best way to position the bed in terms of head of bed elevation, reverse tburg etc. in order to achieve good lung volumes? Right now i can only get 400cc AT BEST.

this patient was first a neuro patient, so she is not awake or able to reposition herself.

thanks for your help!
