What type of chronic obstruction? Is it intrathoracic or extrathoracic? You also have chronic obstruction with obstructive sleep apnea. I would get a further clarification on your topic, it is a little too vague for a paper (you will be writing all year describing all the different types of chronic airway obstruction).

Thanks for the thought, but I did google it, and I looked at about 200 different sites, they were all worthless and never said anything specific, but thanks anyway....

It didn't say on the patient's chart. It just said Chronic Airway Obstruction. Is there a more common one?

  • Asthmatic bronchitis
  • Chronic obstructive bronchitis
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD includes asthmatic bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, emphysema and the overlap between them).
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Emphysema

  • Interstitial pneumonitis
  • Infectious inflammation (eg, histoplasmosis, mycobacterium infection)

You may want to try "obstructive lung disease" in your google search.
