help with assignment on asthma

hi guys,
would really appreciate some help with an assignment, have to do a case study on a patient addmited to the ER who has an acute asthma attack. need an outline of the nursing interventions and an in-depth analysis of 3 nursing priorities, thanks

hi thanks for replying,

for nursing priorities for the patient i was thinking; monitoring the patients vital signs, ie their pulse, resp. rate, bp, colour, o2 saturations, and aterial blood gases for sign of deterioration or improvement, administer perscribed drugs and assist with inhalation therapy, giving psycological support to the patient as he would be extreamly anxious... am i along the right track?????
