Preparatory Experience For Public Health Nursing

Hello everyone!

I am a newly licensed RN, with an ADN. I am currently in an RN-to-BSN program, mainly to be eligible to be PHN certified (California).

What area of nursing, hospital floors or public health clinics (wherein I could use my ADN and earn a living), do you think I should work in while still waiting for my PHN and will prepare me for the PHN?

I appreciate your opinion. Thank you.
