Hi! Here in Spokane, Washington I work for the 1st Steps Program. It is a maternal child health program focused on health outcomes to pregnancy and the postpartum period. We get paid for our visits in 15 minute increments and are expected to bill a minimum of 60 units per week. Visits in a clinic typically range from 15 to 45 minutes (1-3 units). Home Visits are more often 1 - 1 1/2 hours (4-6 units). That means that just under 50% of our time is spent in face to face contact.
