Psych/Mental Health Help Observation

by Toshiba

Hey guys

Just wondering if you know how long can a person legally (who is a involuntary patient) stay in a locked observation area?
Not too sure because seclusion is different as far as the time frame goes .

Hope you can help

I'd like to help, but I don't understand your question.

Are you saying the "locked observation area" you're asking about is something different from (locked) seclusion? If so, what is it, exactly?
