nooo ..used to work with a male charge nurse who has level 4 salary...dont do nothing except drink coffee

Where does he work????? I am lucky to get time to go to the BR, let alone get a cup of coffee !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are non-stop at it at my psych hospital....................

Depends on where you work. At a for profit organization I made more money, but at the non-profit, I am making less, but have peace of mind that I am not going to lose my job because of some cut throat, insecure psycho Unit manager!

My base rate is higher than what I'd get at the local hospitals...but the hospitals offer higher shift differentials.

So depending on when I work, it could pay more than hospitals would

I'm making $18.75/hr. I was making $21.50/hr at a hospital. However, I get "Baylor Pay" which is 8 hours of pay per week extra. So that helps it even out.

In my place of work, new graduates get the same rate---regardless of the unit they work in.
