Coming To the Dark Side

Specialties Psychiatric

Published

I know this forum isn't overly active, but I just wanted to say I'm starting my brand new career in psych!

I was hired for a job in an inpatient forensic psych hospital that specializes in rehabilitating people who are deemed incompetent to stand trial.

I'm excited and nervous and a little bit scared, but mostly happy that I found the courage to go where I wanted to be.

Wish me luck!

Best of luck to you! Sounds exciting and challenging!

That's very interesting!! Best wishes for your career! Just goes to show how versatile nursing really can be!

Can you elaborate a bit more about what you'll be doing? I'm a student just exploring options :) Thanks! Again, Good luck!

The position sounds VERY interesting. Like a different spin on traditional psych. Good luck!
