Assault protocol

  1. 0 What kind of protocol exists (if any) on your units AFTER a staff member has been assaulted by a patient? Here is what I need to know. if you can help me with any parts, I would be thankful.

Is the patient removed and secluded for some time?

Is the patient assigned to another staff member?

    Is the CNM/director notified?

    Is there a debriefing?

Is there security on the unit? how many?

    How does admin handle it?
