pre/post procedure care or monitoring in the home

by dpw

Does any one do pre/post procedure care or monitoring in the home as their primary job? Some patients or their families don't feel comfortable with them doing their own pre-procedure preps at home; some clients can't be left alone after anesthesia but has no one around to care for them;seems like a niche population.

Work for agencies doing standard home health. Would think that what you are describing would be difficult until you get a referral service going if you are planning on doing this on your own without the services of an agency. Saw an ad just last week looking for a nurse to do this type of work. Ad was placed by a bariatric surgery business.
