Do you work for an agency? If so, did you call and notify your supervisor? I assume you called the doctor in a timely manner. As long as you did that, there really is nothing else you can do, except to review your documentation with your supervisor. You might be required to write a separate incident report. Hope your next case goes better.

Welcome to the site. As long as you contacted the doctor and documented it, that is all you can do at this point, since you don't have an employer to report to. Make sure that you have thoroughly documented the incident to your own satisfaction, since this mother may decide to take action against you. Some client families are just that vindictive.
