New to Private Duty Nursing...

  1. I will be starting to take care of a client, in his home. He is on a vent, has a cath, trach, but most of the work is just washing him up, transferring, range of motion and the like.

Previously, the client was with a home health agency, but to cut costs they are hiring their own nurses.

There is no required charting, but obviously I will chart to document my time spent there and to cover my butt, if need be. Does anyone have any charting forms or forms for documenting VS? I was going to try and make my own on Excel but thought if someone had one that worked well and would not mind sharing? It would be much appreciated!
