Will I ever get into nursing school? El Centro or Concorde Career College in Dallas,

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I've been searching and doing research on which schools to go to. I am willing to go either route, LVN or RN, I just want to start school already geesh! Concorde has a class starting in June and El Centro, well there's all the pre-reqs and waiting to get accepted into the program. I feel like I will never get into school. I spoke with DNI and they told me to wait until December 2014 to start since I am pregnant. Concorde Career College - Dallas Campus is willing to work with me but the school is expensive but that is something I'm willing to sacrifice for my education, I'll invest in myself. Any suggestions from anyone going to any of these two schools here in DFW?????

Thank you, I have narrowed down to 2 schools now that I want to attend. ;)

I work for THR too and I applied for the THR/El Centro program. Letters were mailed out yesterday and I'm so nervous. I hope I was accepted! Good luck to you!!!

I would honestly not even attempt to think about going to individual institutions such as Concorde, ITTECH, Devry, and other schools like that. For one, most of their pre requisites don't even transfer if you head towards a public community college. Plus, paying thousands of dollars in debt. My sister went to one of those and is already over 20,000 in debt and didn't even finish. She headed into a depression because the teachers were absolutely horrible and just overall bad. They're even scam artists who try to rip you off and make you pay more than you were intend to.
