Where do I find that first job as a CNA in NYC while taking pre-reqs?

Hello! I am currently taking pre-reqs for entry into an ABSN or general BSN here in NYC. I have my CNA certificate, but all the job listings I have found (even those for LTC and HHC) are REQUIRING 6-24 months of experience. How do I find that first job that will give me 6-24 months experience?!?! Any advice would be great, as I HAVE to find a job by January, and I really want to put my CNA to good use and get my feet wet!

Also, does anyone have strong feelings about Hunter's (CUNY) Nursing Programs?
