Default Re: NET test/nursing prereqs
I am quite smart, but one of the biggest mistakes I made was taking A & P with Micro, these 2 classes are quite demanding and I had 4hour labs with each class weekly. So tha put me in lab alone for eight hours out of every week as well as about the same amount in lecture, completely over whelming and I had to divide my loyalties between the two and the expense of the other classes. Not smart, if you intend to be sucessful and make it through it the first time, do one each semester with classes that are not so demanding. Youhave to be completely committed or you will not make it.

I have not gottent through all of them yet, and this might seem stupid to some of you, but I know when I took the test last year, at least one of the questions was about a Law. I didn't retain that information, so maybe this will help someone else!

Default Registered Nurse's Real Life Job Experience
Hi all,

I hope this helps. It's a website that I stumbled upon awhile ago when I was deciding what to do with my career. This article is all about a first year registered nurse working in San Francisco, she writes about her real life job experience on the job, the highs and the lows. Reading what she wrote really helped me learn about what it was like to be a nurse, here is the link:

Registered Nurse's - real life job experience

it's on the website:

http://www.jobpodge.com which is a website dedicated to real life job descriptions

Good luck all,

dearnelia. . .you are posting in the wrong forum. The pre-nursing students wouldn't know much about nursing care plans. You will find information on how to write nursing care plans on these sticky threads the allnurses nursing student forums:

Default A&P 2 question
I have a question....
I am studying for finals and my professor has given me this study question of which I have no clue how to figure out the information...

Given the following data for an unknown substance, assume the standard units are as follow (without units):

P sub x = 0.2
U sub x = 15
V = 1

the options are
X is only filtered
X is secreted
X is reabsorbed

I have taken it 3 times so far and have greatly improved my score. I am taking it one last time for this coming up evaluation and would like any help in the science part of the exam. I am strong in A&P, but weak in chemistry and physics. I have the review book and have taken all of the practice exams. Does anyone have any suggestions...the exam will be Sept. 6. If not, wish me lots of luck!! LOL

Thanks!

I have taken the NET twice now. I can help with the science if you can help with the reading. The science on the test I took was basic. Basic anatomy. I got my anatomy book out and started at the beginning and looked at the basics. One question I remember: What is the knee bone? Stuff like that. protons, neutrons, number on outer shell. What college????? I'm trying Ga. colleges too. Thanks. Oh, any online practice tests (free) for reading or any other part?????
