Hey guys, I know it's a little early, however, I decided to start this thread as the application process will be soon upon us.

How are you studying for the TEAS?

Hey everyone!!

So I am applying to the Dallas Weekend/Evening Program for Fall 2018. If anyone can find another version of the GPA spreadsheet and post it that would be awesome! I tried to open the one posted here but it would not open the file. There used to be one on the TWU website but couldn't find that either.

My stats are:

GPA: ~3.4 or 3.5

Nursing Core GPA: should be 4.0

TEAS: 94.7 overall (100 on Math and Eng, and 95 on Science, and 89 on Reading).

No prior bachelors or TWU bump

I feel like these are pretty good stats to get in. I applied last year with a lower GPA and TEAS and did not get in so I am super hopeful this is my year. Good luck to all of you and again, if anyone can hunt down another version of that GPA spreadsheet please post it, I'm antsy to know what my points are :)

What did you study to make a high score in science?

I have one that I can send to you! It's an Excel file on my computer so Im not sure how to post it on here. Do you know how I could do that by chance? or I could email it to you?

I'm applying for Fall 2018 as well and was able to get in to see an advisor yesterday during walk-in Wednesday, so she sent me the file after we met.

That TEAS score is excellent! How did you go about studying for it? I've taken it once (without studying) late in the Summer just for practice and and got a 78 overall. I'm planning on taking it again in December or January. I think you'll have a very good chance this time around with those stats!

Those are GREAT stats. If you don't mind me asking what where the first scores you applied with and how did you study for the TEAS this time around. I'm struggling with Stats and it looks like I might end up with a B and if that's so I'll retake A&P2 to get that A for a higher Nursing Core GPA. I take the TEAS on 12/2 and I'm SUPER nervous!

The first time I applied, when i was not accepted, my GPA was 3.2 and TEAS was 83.3

I found this on the TWU Spring 2018 nursing discussion board for anyone curious about the stats of applicants admitted to the program this last go round. It was posted by the TWU Nursing Adm:

Preliminary stats/averages for Spring 2018 are the following:

Dallas (396 total applicants)

Lowest admitted score: 49.9

Avg. GPA: 3.75

Avg. TEAS: 86.9%

Houston (502 total applicants)

Lowest admitted score: 44.1

Avg. GPA: 3.72

Avg. TEAS: 87.2%
