Yes, most all of my pre-reqs have been/will be/are on-line courses. There are several threads on the board with tips on studying with direct application to on-line classes. I'm in a summer A&P I class. Next month, I start A&P II (same instructor), Psychology, and Speech (that's mixed - some on campus, some on-line and accelerated). Ones that I would perhaps take on campus would be Math as I know I'm going to need additional help.

You really have to be honest with yourself to know if you're going to succeed on-line. It takes discipline and self-motivation to do it this way. It's a great, flexible option, but often it's a bit harder than on campus courses. Feel free to PM me with any specific questions you may have!

I'm currently taking AP1, Stats (ugh!), and my CNA certification. I'm hoping to get into an accelerated program for summer or fall of 2010. It feels so far away so I'm really excited this topic is up!! For those of you in Westchester, NY, I am strongly considering applying to the College of New Rochelle's accelerated program, any thoughts about the school or program? Also, in response to the online prerequisites; I really have no choice since I'm working full time but I read that the most important thing is to print out the syllabi from your courses so you can show the potential schools and also that they strongly prefer that Microbiology is taken in class instead of online. Definitely varies from school to school though

Hey, y'all - I'm another Fall 2010 hopeful!

Like RADIATIONRN2BE, I'm at Austin Community College. I have some pre-reqs done from my first time at college, and have completed anatomy and physiology at ACC (although physiology darn near killed me - the professor was legendary, to say the least). I'm taking pharmacology and HGaD this summer, and will take intro to micro in the fall. That will complete all my pre- and co-reqs.

I'm starting to get anxious, thinking that everyone else applying will have a 4.0 in all their pre- and co-reqs. Since some of my classes are from my first and not-so-illustrious college career, I'll be applying with a 3.67.

I'm taking prereqs now for either Spring 2010 or Fall 2010 depending on which school I can get into. I'm actually hoping a bit for the (have to apply and interview for this school in Jan.) Fall school because that's a public school and would save me $$ but the Spring school moves fast.
