Has anyone else applied yet? I just found a change of status of my application. Something like "application returned to admissions after committee review". Anyone else see that?

Hello everyone!

Apparently there are two threads for the 2015 accelerated program; this one seems current. My application is pending. I still need to get my recommendation letters ready. Can anyone tell me if I need to have my prerequisites completed prior to submitting the application,or, can I have them complete by the spring semester?

Hi, Sohokat, I also applied. where do you see "application returned to admissions after committee review"? which link do you use to check the application statute? I am still a little confuse about the system.

I'm seeing that note on the application website. Before, it said something like "Application submitted", then "application sent to committee for review" and now the thing about the application being returned to admission. All in green font, right under the date you submitted your application.

Hi everyone! I've also applied for the 2015 Accelerated program. My application status says the same as yours sohokat, "application returned to admissions after review". Hope that's a good thing..... I really wish we had a better idea of when they will start making decisions and letting us know. Good luck to everyone!

tks, I see it. my still are "incomplete review", i guess it is because my prof. does not summit the recommendation for me yet.

Hi, Do you guys take the TEAS V? How is your score? How is your GPA and related experiences?

I got high 80's in both math and reading section, but my GPA for pre-courses is around 3.6 and I had not experience working in hospital.

Hi everyone!

Just submitted my application for the 2015 Accelerated Program!! I just graduated from Manhattan College in May with a major in biology. I think I have pretty competitive prerequisite GPA and alright TEAS scores on Reading and Math, but I'm worried about my limited health experience. I just registered to take Anthro and Devel. Psych over January Intercession at my community college. I read somewhere that those who have completed all their prereqs upon applying are more competitive applicants; I'm hoping this won't be an issue. I'm sure this forum will be helpful as we all progress through the admissions process.

Hi everyone! I attended the info session today.. They said they have 500 applicants so far. ? I am so nervous! Does anyone know how quickly we will hear back from them?

I think around end of March, beginning of April. I'm still waiting for the email with how to pay the application fee, did you have to wait a few days too?

Do the letters of recommendation have a deadline, that's earlier than the application deadline? I'm under the impression that everything is due on 12/15/14. I know some colleges have a deadline, starting from the time the teacher begins your application letter. If anyone has information on this, please let me know.
