st. paul's school of Nursing , on staten island

Hi everyone, am new here, and i need some infromation.
am applying to the st. Paul's school of Nursing for the spring 2010, i am waiting for a date from them to take the Net exam. i need infromation from anyone who got accepted into the st. Paul's program recently. what is the needed score for the net exam?, and how was the net exam?. also, is it hard to get in? and does GPA counts for a lot?

so many questions, please help me!!!!!! , thanks a lot!!!!

Yea,

I put in my application and I am just waiting for an exam date. I wish they had more info on their website. I am curious to see what their curriculum is like. I would hate to have to do 2 years even if I have all my pre reqs

I sent in my application too. i have their pre reqs too. the package that they sent us has their pre reqs on it. so if you already took those classes they will take them.

how are you studying for the exam?

Well, I purchased this book ISBN: 9780764136979. From what I heard its just basic math and english. Im not too sure about their program, but if I dont get accepted anywhere else I guess its one of my last resorts. I have been to their Staten Island school and its sooo small. I hope their Queens location is an upgrade.

If you don't mind me asking, what other programs are you looking into to apply? I'm looking for other schools as well. Does anyone know anyone that has took the NET exam and what they thought of it? was it difficult??

well, a friend of mine took the exam, she said that it was basic math and english. some science, and written exprissions. she said that it was not hard. but the english was a little problem. i guess u ready have to study the english. am still waiting to take it. did you alpply and is waiting to take the exam on staten island?

yes,

the math is very easy, but the english is 10x harder. You have very little time for the english part and you really need to practice those type of questions to be ready for it.
