Schools that you dont need a TEAS to get in

Nursing Students School Programs

can people name some schools where you dont need to take the TEAS to get in? I am in Michigan it would be nice to find somewhere close but I may have to travel if I want to be an RN

I am applying to the community college of allegheny county in PA and they just comepletely eliminated their entrance test. It used to be the pax, but now you dont need to take a test just have a gpa of 2.8

Most places will require some form of entrance exam. Not to be rude but If you cant perform those basic skills how will you survive as a nurse?

Most of the schools I've been looking at don't require the TEAS or any other test but the caveat is they also are second degree programs.

RNs didn't always have to take the TEAS to get accepted into RN school and they did just fine when they were in the program

does anyone have any universities that don't require the TEAS?

I'm not entirely sure but I would assume that all state universities would require some kind of entrance exam. Have you looked at private universities?

I dont know any private universities

Is there a specific reason ur looking for a school that doesn't require a TEAS exam? I know that not all schools require the same score. The community college I go to right now requiresa 62 but the university I want to get into requires a 78...

My TEAS scores are always low. I would like to apply to a school where you don't have to take the TEAS

are you a bad test taker? disabilities? is it a lack of information? imo a better approach would be to fix the problem instead of running from it. the nclex is also a standardized test so you cant really get away from them...sorry

anyone have any schools ??
