School a&p

  1. Hi! Ive seen lots of comments on this thread pertaining to this. But not exactly to my situation, I have a 2.5 in a&p 1, a 4.0 in a&p 2 and a 4.0 in micro. I am concerned about my 2.5 holding me back i have a 3.6 cumulative gpa average. That 2.5 happened when i didnt study well. I studied alot but i didnt study properly i guess. I adapted new study techniques and have improved greatly. However i am nervous about getting into nursing school. My school requires 3.0 cumlitive and minimum 2.5 in each class. Its a adn program at community college. The counsulers are useless and just tell everyone they suck basically. Dont know why but most of them just wanna down everyone also they always inform you wrong. Im wondering your guys thoughts on my chances? Maybe similar experiences with grades?

I predict you have a 72% likelihood of getting in.

How do you know they're telling everyone they suck? If that's what they're telling you, your chances may not be good. Every school calculates admission points differently. Mine only required passing grades, but there were so many applications that I only made it in as an alternate with a 3.7 GPA.

Its a known thing in the school. What i meant was the counsulers we have (most of them) tell everyone they are not enough. There is one good one we have but my point in that was asking them is not a good option. Anyone ive talked to in nursing program was told they dont have a chance. The counsulers are very misinformed and have given many ppl wrong info

Respectfully, why do you think we might have more/different/better info than the admissions counselors at your school?

What other criteria do they look at for admission? Can you retake A&P1? All schools are different, so it is hard to compare.

my advice is to retake A&P I
