I No Algebra.. I need HELP understanding this Will I Be Learning pharmacokinetics mathematics.. I No IV Bolus, Iv calculations', Dosage calculations, Conversions, Pediatric Medications, Arterial blood gas... Because Pharmacokinetics comes with calculus So Please me Understand this Because it's little Confusing....

We are having a little problem understanding your post. Are you trying to say that you are having problems understanding Math/Algebra, etc.?

If you are a student go to your tutoring center. Pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics are concepts not calculations in nursing. Drug PK & PD are determined by doctoral level biostatisticians and PharmD/PhD pharmaceutical research & developers that do these calculations based on serial drug level blood & body fluid analysis.

Nurses need to know published half life & duration and other basic information included in a nursing drug book. Such as Tylenol has a duration of 4-6hrs, metabolizes in liver, and can be given with or without food.

Ampicillin must be given 1hr before meals or 2 hours after, cannot be given with calcium or calcium containing products...

No calculus is needed for any nursing drug calculation. Ever.

Algebra, ratios, proportion, addition, multiplication, division, subtraction, rates, volume, units of measurement are necessary though.

If you are lacking in basic calculation skills you need to seek an appropriate tutor. We cannot teach you on a message board partly because I'm not sure I understand your request

No nursing school in the US requires calculations of pharmacokinetics. This is not a nursing skill. Nurses don't need calculus or differential equations.

I've worked in international pharmaceutical research the PK is done by the same specialists as in the US.

Advanced statistical analysis is used to determine PK profiles.

Again there are two primary professions that calculate pharmacokinetics:

PhD level biostatisticians

&

PharmD/PhD pharmacists

PK calculations are not done by nurses nor nursing students
